Scott Godegast
Tax Manager
Scott Godegast joined BFBA in 2003 to spearhead the firm’s tax credits and incentives department. Scott’s focus is helping companies take advantage of government incentive programs to reduce their tax liability from previous years, as well as current and future years.
Scott brings a combination of specialized experience and familiarity with the Franchise Tax Board and state officials involved in approving program applications. He has built a reputation for accurate filings and getting clients’ approvals through the first time.
Scott previously spent three years in KPMG’s state and local tax practice working with multi-million dollar clients. He now parlays that expertise to BFBA clients, providing the same opportunities to our clients that national firms provide to large companies.
