Jackson Angle joined BFBA as a tax senior in 2015 after working at a combined 3 years at a regional and a BIG 4 firm, with experience in both tax and audit. As a manager of large client groups containing several types of entities in each group, Jackson values being well versed in the tax rules and nuances specific to each type of entity.
Jackson has experience in overseeing the preparation of a variety of tax returns, including, individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns. He first began focusing on business entity selection strategies while receiving his Masters in Taxation and now advises his clients through the process of forming a new entity or changing an entity’s form. He values working hand-in-hand with his clients, to go above and beyond in tax compliance services.
Jackson provides the following services to his client’s:

- Representation before taxing authorities
- Income tax compliance and tax deferral strategies
- Research and Development Tax Credit identification and preparation

Jackson has a passion for education and mentoring students entering the public accounting profession. Jackson is in charge of campus recruiting at BFBA, contributing to the firms’ overall success and client service focus by recruiting top-tier students. Jackson graduated at the top of his class, obtaining his accountancy degree with Summa Cum Laude honors from CSU, Sacramento. Additionally, Jackson has taught CPA review preparation courses and is currently contracted with Becker Professional Education as a part-time instructor. Jackson loves sharing study and test-taking tips with CPA candidates. Jackson oversees in-house training for staff at BFBA.

Jackson is the proud father of an elementary age son and a newborn daughter. Outside of work, Jackson enjoys coaching his son’s sports, wakeboarding, and snowboarding with his family, and volunteering at his church.
